Clare Luzuriaga is a Philadelphia-based, UK-born figurative artist working primarily in oil on board and watercolor. Her work explores the subtle, tender dynamics of childhood and motherhood, capturing quiet moments of human connection suspended in expansive fields of vivid color. Drawing inspiration from vintage family photographs, candid encounters, and shoreline reflections, Luzuriaga uses graphic compositions, rich ceruleans, and high-contrast light to turn nostalgic memory into timeless visual narrative.

Clare completed her foundation at Central St. Martins in London and has a degree in Graphic Arts from Camberwell College of Arts in London. Her work has been exhibited in Haverford, PA; Philadelphia, PA; Davis, CA; Salisbury, UK; and Quito, Ecuador.
